Donald Trump may be a very busy man, but that doesn’t mean he can’t occasionally ring upFox & Friendsfor an “old-fashioned 53-minute conspiracy ramble.”
In the clip above fromThe Late Show, Stephen Colbert breaks down a few of the weirdest moments from the call — including Trump’s waffling comments about the DNC server being given to CrowdStrike, a company apparently “owned by a very wealthy Ukrainian.”
“Here’s the thing about CrowdStrike and Ukraine,” responds Colbert. “That’s not a thing. CrowdStrike’s an American companynotowned by a Ukrainian — and they’re so trustworthy that one of their biggest customers is the Republican Party.”
Colbert then shows a clip ofFox & Friends‘ Steve Doocy questioning the president’s assertion.
“I gotta say, getting fact-checked byFox & Friendsis like the Incredible Hulk telling you he doesn’t likeyouwhen you’re angry,” says Colbert.
